Dawn Prestwich is a writer and Executive producer/Showrunner (with her partner Nicole Yorkin) of FX's"The Riches". In 2007 Dawn and Nicole were Consulting Producers of FX's "Dirt". Prior to that, they were Co-Executive producers on Showtime's "Brotherhood", HBO's "Carnivale" and on "Judging Amy". They won a Writer's Guild Award in 2003 for their drama pilot, "The Education of Max Bickford". They have worked on various television shows over 15 plus years, including "Picket Fences," "The Practice," "Ally McBeal," and shared an Emmy nomination with several producers of "Chicago Hope" for "Outstanding Drama Series." Dawn, a Texas native, who attended Stanford University a hundred years ago, was a published short story writer before she and Nicole met at the American Film Institute. She and Nicole are currently attached as Showrunners on a pilot for ABC ("Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas"), as well as developing several pilots for network and cable TV.
