Janet Graham Borba

Senior Vice President of Production, HBO Films & Miniseries

Janet Graham Borba is Senior Vice President, Production, HBO Films and Mini-Series, for Home Box Office, responsible for overseeing physical production of films and miniseries under the HBO Films banner and select series for HBO Original Programming. Janet joined HBO in
1995 and has overseen such acclaimed productions as the multiple Emmy(r) and Golden Globe-winning miniseries "John Adams" and "Angels in America", and the multiple Emmy(r) winning films "Something the Lord Made", "Ironed Jawed Angels", "Gathering Storm" and "Wit".

Prior to joining HBO, Janet co-produced feature films including 1995's HACKERS. After receiving an MFA from the Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing program at USC, Janet developed projects for director/writer/ producer Jim Abrahams and for producer Michael Peyser.

Janet now teaches for the Peter Stark program at her alma mater, and she sits on the Board of the Virginia Film Festival. She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and she holds a BA degree from the University of Virginia.
