Television Academy Foundation Chairman Jerry Petry made the announcement today.
The new members elected to two-year terms on the board of the Television Academy’s charitable arm are:

“To have this caliber of top industry executives serve on the Foundation board illustrates just how well this organization’s many worthwhile programs and initiatives are viewed throughout the industry,” Petry said. “We’re excited Nina, Ted, Jeff and David will be able to contribute their incredible energy, expertise and insight to the Foundation in 2009.”
Tassler, named CBS Entertainment president in September 2004, oversees the network’s entertainment programming for primetime, late night and daytime, as well as program development for all genres, including comedy, drama, reality, specials, movies and miniseries.
